“Why should I as a pharmacist want to have a web site, when I have no interest in the web?”

1) It is an easy and cheap way to get information about you and your pharmacy to your customers, who are becoming much more interested in, and skilled up on, the internet. Please go to the sample website to see what our system can offer to fulfil the requirements of the new Pharmacy Contractual Framework.

2) Once you have begun to see what possibilities the world wide web offers you will probably want to consider getting a more elaborate site and exploring the possibilities of selling products on the net, carrying out online surveys of your customers, etc.

“Why should I join the National Pharmacy Website Register for £50?”

1) If you go to a web designer you soon discover that they charge about £150 to £200 for each page. So we are offering you a saving in web design (albeit you will not have an individual design) of £900 to £1,200.

2) You would also need to buy a domain name and the web hosting deal so we save you another £100 per year or so

3) If your opening hours, address, telephone, fax, change we will update free of charge. That’s another £150 of value

At the NPWR we represent a very cost effective way of obtaining a web presence quickly
